View from the Treehouse by Lily Annabelle

Lily’s unique style, often described as “modern nostalgia”, captures the essence of New York and the emotions New Yorkers carry. Her illustrations challenge the transitory nature of this town and preserve the heartwarming moments that define one’s time in New York, long or short. Cozy and unassuming, the New York in her eyes is one that is stripped of intimidation and angsts. What’s more important than the drawings themselves is her celebration of the humans and the storefronts that have defined communities and its people. Lily doesn’t want her art to stop at being art; she dreams to bring communities together through it.

Currently, Lily is preparing to publish her illustrated book with a unique angle of cultural and architectural preservation in New York City.
